FALL 2018 SEASON
365 WOMEN A YEAR PLAY FESTIVAL
Our 2nd annual festival of ten minute plays in conjunction with 365 Women A Year, an international playwriting initiative focused on telling the stories of real women throughout history and giving them new life through theatre. This festival featured 6 plays about historical women, such as Ida Nudel, Louise Beavers, Andrée Raymonde, Agnes Demille, and Frida Kahlo, working towards our goal to help give voice to women whose stories have been lost through time as well as to give a platform to women working in theatre.
365 Women A Year is an international playwriting project involving over 300 playwrights who have signed on to write one or more one-acts about extraordinary women in both past and present history. The project’s ambitious yet focused goal is to write women back into the social consciousness as well as empower and promote female playwrights around the world.

PLAYWRIGHTING FELLOWSHIP
The Playwrighting Fellowship is an annual year-long partnership designed to help develop a new original work from the selected playwright. This year's piece was "Blanket Statement", a new one act play written by Abigail Carlisle, the first ever playwright selected for our fellowship! The piece was workshopped with a director through a rehearsal process in preparation for a staged reading of the piece in October. Immediately after the reading, the floor was open for an open dialogue between the playwright/production team and the audience to receive feedback and suggestions to further improve the play. Over winter break, the playwright made final adjustments to the script and together with a production team put on a fully-staged production of the piece in Spring 2019.

TALENT TANK
Talent Tank is an annual charity variety show competition hosted by White Mouse Productions, featuring monologues, scenes, songs, and more acts by student performers. This year's show was able to raise $100 that went towards hurricane relief through the Red Cross Foundation.
